Your knee replacement went well, but nobody warned you how hard it would be to get out of a chair afterward. The surgeon says six to eight weeks of recovery. For now, every time you stand up from the couch you rock, push, wince and hope your new knee holds.

You do not want to spend thousands on a lift chair you may only need for a couple of months. But every awkward climb out of a low seat strains your incision and slows your healing, and leaning on family for a boost all day wears on everyone. The recovery is hard enough without fighting your furniture every single time you want to stand.

Electropedic rents power lift chairs by the week or the month, so you get exactly the help you need for exactly as long as you need it. Press a button and the chair rises gently, setting you on your feet with no pushing and no strain on healing joints. Recline fully to rest, elevate your legs as your doctor recommends and nap comfortably between therapy sessions. We carry quality chairs from respected makers such as Golden and Pride, delivered to your home, set up where you want it and picked up when you are back on your feet. Want to keep it? Ask about buying it. Rentals are available by the week or the month. Make recovery easier starting today. Call (800) 733-1818.

A fall, a stroke or a surgery has changed everything overnight. You need a power wheelchair now, but the chair your insurance may eventually approve is weeks or months away. Or perhaps your own power chair is in for repairs, and life does not stop while you wait for a part.

Without a chair you are stuck in one room, dependent on others for every trip to the kitchen or bathroom. A manual wheelchair wears out your arms and your helpers, and the waiting feels endless. Independence delayed is independence denied, and every day matters. You need a chair that is ready right now, not someday.

Electropedic rents power wheelchairs by the week or the month, so you can stay independent while you heal, wait or decide. We carry respected Pride Jazzy models and other quality chairs, with compact designs that turn tightly in small rooms and comfortable seats for long days. Our experienced team will adjust the controls and footplate for you, deliver the chair, teach you how to drive and charge it, and service it locally throughout your rental, so you are never without help. Many customers rent first to discover which chair truly fits their life before buying, and if you decide to keep a chair, we can help with that too. Rentals are available by the week or the month. Get moving today instead of someday. Call (800) 733-1818 and ask what is available.

You finally have a scooter or power chair that gives you freedom, but you cannot take it anywhere. It will not fit in the trunk, it is too heavy to lift, and the family road trip, the cruise departure or the long weekend away is coming up fast.

Leaving your scooter at home means spending the trip in a hotel room or depending on others to push you. Buying a vehicle lift for a single trip seems excessive, yet the thought of missing the whole vacation, or wrestling a heavy scooter into the car, is even worse. Your freedom should not end at the driveway.

Electropedic rents scooter lifts and wheelchair carriers so your mobility goes wherever you do. Hitch-mounted carriers and powered lifts let you load a scooter or power chair onto your SUV, van, car or hatchback without heavy lifting, with options to match your vehicle and your mobility device. Our team confirms the right fit for your hitch and equipment, installs the lift on your vehicle, shows you how to load and secure your scooter and removes it when you return. Most installations take just a short visit. Pair a lift with a scooter rental if you are traveling with a visiting loved one. Rent for a weekend, a week or a month. Take the trip you have been planning, with all your freedom intact. Call (800) 733-1818 and reserve your lift today.

An injury or illness has put you in a wheelchair for the next several months, and the steps to your front door have become a wall. Your family carries you and the chair up the porch every time you leave the house, and everyone holds their breath until you are safely inside.

A permanent porch lift or a long ramp seems like an expensive answer to what may be a temporary problem. But going without one means canceled appointments, missed family events and the constant risk that someone will slip on the steps while lifting you or the chair. A temporary problem deserves a practical, temporary solution.

Electropedic rents vertical platform porch lifts so you can come and go safely while you recover. Roll onto the non-skid platform in your wheelchair or scooter and press the control, and the lift carries you smoothly to your porch or deck while you stay seated, with capacities up to 750 pounds on most models. Our own technicians measure your entry, install the lift and service it throughout your rental, then remove it when you no longer need it. Most installations are completed in a single visit. Ask about residential lifts for homes and accessible solutions for businesses. If your needs turn out to be long term, we can help you own it instead. Rentals are available by the month. Keep every appointment and every family gathering. Call (800) 733-1818 for a free in-home measurement.
